the spring rain falls
on the day
lightly finds its way
down to earth
spring rain laughs and cries
dances through the sky
without a who or why
sings its verse

look up and see
the sky cries on you and me
i've got that feeling
the same as these tears
like i'm free falling
losing the fears
'cause it's alright for now.

spring rain alights
disappears before it bites
lost into the light
never existing
srping rain cools
upon my hand
runs through my fingers
faster than sand
